Dave walks forward into the glade. A shaft of light shines down through the trees above, illuminating a razor edge. The blade rests upon an altar of stone, where it has been waiting patiently for Dave's arrival, ready to complete its final form..

(THE SPECTRAL SWORD)
Dave reaches out and grabs the blade. It feels almost weightless in his hand. He holds it up before him and inspects the edge (RADIANT)
the reflective light shattering off into infinity.
He lays the blade back onto the altar and grabs his satchel, pulling out the power gem.
As he passes his hand into the shaft of light, the power gem begins to radiate with a prismatic glow, all 42 facets separating the light into its spectral components. Photons shatter and reflect. Dave peers into the gem.. and within, a microverse has appeared.
As above, so below.

Dave shifts (shifts)
his eyes away from the gem and looks down at the blade. He knows this path to be true. He grabs it with intent and places the power gem into the hilt.
